Tell us a little bit about yourself. Where did your journey in music begin?
My journey in music began probably about 10 years ago now. I was just playing songs and writing in my bedroom whilst at school, and eventually started entering a few local Battle of The Bands etc. From there I recorded my first EP and started playing shows and busking in Melbourne. I’ve been doing it ever since!
If you had to sum yourself up in three words, how would you?
I actually struggle with this one! I’m not too great at talking about myself, but if i had to choose i’d like to think i’m a pretty chill, friendly, and laid back kinda guy.

Tell us a little about your latest single, Restless Heart. What does the song mean to you?
‘Restless Heart’ is a song about learning to relax, and just live in the moment. It was actually written about my twin brother, who has always been an energetic type who constantly needed to be doing the next thing, or at the next place already. I wrote the song about the good times we shared together when we used to drive down to the coast for a surf. It was some of the rare moments when we could both relax and just enjoy each others company, and not worry about when we would arrive.
Is this a hint at more new music on the way?
Absolutely! Keep an eye out for a full EP on the on the way before the end of the year.
Did you have any help with the recording or producing process?
I record most of music with a good friend of mine Daniel Kelaart at Clique Studios. He helped me out when i was first starting and I still go back today. Basically we recorded all of the instruments between us (except for the drums – we got a session musician in for that). I even got to play some ukulele on the record which was pretty cool!
What advice would you give to people who want to make music?
Just make it! Don’t let anything stop you from writing or creating music, it’s such a great and amazing thing to be able to share with others. The hardest part is just getting started – you just need to commit and give it a shot.
Do you get many opportunities to play shows? Are there any planned for the future?
It’s a bit of a crazy time atm with all of the COVID-19 stuff going on, but I have had the chance to play a couple of live-streamed events which were great fun! After this all blows over hopefully i’ll be able to do a couple of small headline shows around Australia. Just got to wait and see at this point!

What are some of the craziest things that have happened to you at a gig?
I opened a show for a band once and then went out and crowd-surfed during their headline set later, lost my shoes whilst crowd-surfing (I got them back later). It was a pretty fun gig though!
Which artists are you currently listening to?
Patrick James, Hayden Calnin, Dylan Dunlap, Andrew Belle, and Garret Kato.
Where can we find out more about you?

Anything you would like to tell us?
Keep an eye out for that EP later in the year. I’m really excited to get it out there to everyone! You can give me a follow on Spotify and my social media to stay up to date. Thanks so much for the interview too, i really appreciate it!
Well, you heard it here first folks. This is one great track and I cannot wait to hear the EP when it’s out later this year. I would like to thank Scott for taking the time to answer my questions and wish him the best of luck.
